RESCUE
Castleton Ranch have been rescuing horses since 2004. Many of the horses we rescue had been the victims of abuse.
We regularly partner with other rescue organizations for the purpose of achieving a greater result.
When we work together so much more can be achieved.

At an auction we can identify at risk horses.
At the end of any auction those horses rescued by our partnerships are transported to a ranch for isolation protocols. Every horse is seen by a veterinarian and farrier. Each horse is evaluated and a decision on whether they can be rehabilitated and prepared for a new approved adoptive home. can be made during this process. Those who cannot, for reasons of age, injury or some other existing factor will be heading to one of our lifetime sanctuaries where they can live out the rest of their life never again seeing an auction ring.
We are very grateful to our wonderful supporters who make it possible for us to achieve the rescues that we do and to provide these horses with new lives, safe from harm.
