The cost of sponsoring a horse is $140.00 per month.
When you sponsor a horse, we will send you photographs of him/her each month along with updates on how they are doing. We will also make a notation on our website of your kind sponsorship under the photograph of your sponsored horse.
Sponsorship donations, like other donations, are completely tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code
Your sponsorship can be made by check, money order, credit card or paypal. If you are doing this by credit card or paypal, this can be done securely via our website by clicking the donate now button on any page or by calling the office on 760 913 5606. THE HORSES
Nero
This handsome Arabian is called Nero. He is in his early 20’s. He was rescued from an auction in January. He was a stallion, however we have since had him gelded. He is a very sweet horse and loves lots of attention. He is living out his retirement at our sanctuary and seems to be loving every minute of it.
We hope that Nero can find a sponsor.
Robin
This handsome guy is called Robin. Sadly he only has one ear. He was rescued from an auction in February. It appears that he had been through the same auction twice. The auctioneer told us that it looks like he was used as a tripping horse because of all the rope burn marks on his legs. He also said that Robin had lost his ear in an incident involving barbed wire. This poor guy has had a very rough time of it, but now he is safe forever and will want for nothing.
